Obelisk Agency ("we", "us") builds and publishes the Android apps listed below. This policy covers what is true of all of them. Each app also has its own policy, because each one does different things, and where the two differ the app's own policy is the one that governes it.
The short version
We do not run servers that hold your data. Our apps have no accounts and no sign-up. What you create inside an app stays on your device unless you choose to back it up, and when you do, it goes to your own cloud account rather than ours. We have never sold anyone's data and have nothing to sell.
What is true of every app we publish
- No account. None of our apps ask you to register. We do not know who you are.
- Your content stays on your device. Notes, calculations, libraries, garden records, whatever the app is for, it is written to app-private storage on the phone. Uninstalling removes it.
- No servers of ours hold it. There is no Obelisk database with your information in it.
- Purchases go through Google Play. Google is the seller and processes payment. We never see card details. The app records only whether a purchase is yours.
- We do not sell or rent data to anybody, for any purpose.
What varies between apps
Read the app's own policy for these. They are the parts that differ.
- Advertising. Some apps are free and carry ads from Google AdMob. Where consent is required, the app shows Google's consent form before requesting anything, and you can change your answer later in its settings. Apps without ads request nothing.
- Backup to your own cloud. Some apps can back up to your Google Drive. That is off by default, it writes to your account and not ours, and we cannot read it.
- Crash and usage reporting. Some apps include Google's crash reporting or anonymous analytics. Others deliberately include neither.
- Permissions. A file manager needs storage access, a gardening app needs approximate location for the weather, a QR scanner needs the camera. Each app requests only what its own job needs.
- Outbound requests. Where an app fetches something from the internet, its own policy names the services it talks to.

Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another place with data protection law, you have rights over personal data held about you. In practice we hold none: no account, no server-side record, and no way to identify you from anything an app does.
What you can do is all inside the app: export your data, delete it, or uninstall. Several apps have a page describing exactly what deletion removes, linked above.
For data handled by Google as advertising, payment or cloud provider, see Google's privacy policy and contact Google directly. If you believe your data protection rights have been infringed, you may complain to your national supervisory authority, which in Romania is the ANSPDCP.
Children
Our apps are tools for adults. None is directed at children, none collects personal information from anyone, and where advertising appears it is restricted to Google's general audience rating.
Who we are

Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. Changes that affect a specific app are also reflected in that app's own policy and in its release notes.
